Money-Back Policy

1. Overview

Cognidev offers professional training with stated prices in KRW. This Money-Back Policy explains cooling-off rights, partial refunds, and non-refundable items under the Republic of Korea’s consumer framework (including Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce where applicable) and our operational rules.

2. Cooling-Off Period

For distance contracts, consumers in Korea generally have a seven-day cooling-off right unless an exception applies. Where a statutory fourteen-day-like practice is promoted for specific campaigns, the campaign terms on your invoice control.

3. Exceptions and Non-Refundable Items

If digital content delivery has started with your prior consent and acknowledgment that withdrawal may be limited, refunds may be reduced proportionally. Third-party fees (exam vouchers, non-refundable venue deposits) itemized on invoices are passed through and may be non-refundable once purchased on your behalf.

4. Eligibility for Partial Refunds

If you withdraw after cohort materials are distributed but before the second live session, we may retain a reasonable administration fee and per-seat costs disclosed at checkout. After the second live session, refunds are generally not available except for documented medical emergencies or our inability to deliver the service.

5. Process Steps

Email hello@cognidev.digital with your invoice number, cohort name, and reason. We respond within five business days with a decision and any evidence requests. Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method unless technically impossible.

6. Processing Time and Method

Financial partners may take five to fourteen business days to post refunds after we approve them. Installment plans are totaled at refund time according to the remaining unpaid balance rules in your financing agreement.

7. Cancellations by Cognidev

If we cancel a cohort, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another date. If we reschedule with more than fourteen days’ notice and you cannot attend, you may request a transfer once or a refund per the schedule above.
